| Not far to go again this evening, no traffic hold ups, couldn’t really get lost as it’s only five minutes to get to the hall, what could go wrong, as someone who reports on the meetings it does help when you have a camera, mine on this occasion was in my office at home, also apology for delay in the report as I had a date with the operating theatre, now that was fun. (not) |

| Ah well never mind a short report will record this special meeting, members and guests arrived and spent some quality time chatting and bringing news from around the province, the meeting commenced on time at 6pm, the W.Com gave warm greetings to W.Bro.Douglas John Forster RAMGR who was representing the RW Prov Grand Master at this meeting. Several items on the summons were dealt with including a ballot for two new candidates for elevation, then it was time for the main business of the evening the Installation of Bro. Sylvester During to WC by the present W. Com Bro. Denis Tierney. Assisted by the DC and members of the Lodge an excellent ceremony followed which was enjoyed by all present, the Keystone Jewel was presented and explained by W.Bro.Graham Bailey RAMGR who is the PGM’s Special Representative for the area, the address to the newly installed WC was given by W.Bro. Denis Tierney after which the officers for the ensuing year were presented and invested. |

| A wonderful address to all was given by W.Bro.John Forster RAMGR after which he passed on the PGM’s congratulations to the new WC, on replying Bro. During thanked him for the good wishes and had much pleasure in presenting a cheque for the West Lancs Mark Charity Fund, which was well received. W.Bro.Graham Bailey RAMGR then gave a superb presentation of the Grand Lodge certificate to Bro.Robert Murphy and that was it, following any other business and a collection for the Charities another great meeting was all too soon over. |

| Everyone gathered in the dining room, charged their glasses and took up their seats for the festive Board, the usual toasts and responses followed the excellent meal before the Tylers Toast was called for which on this occasion was given by the very hard working and dedicated Provincial Grand Tyler W.Bro. Ernest Gavan PGStB. |

| Off we went into the cold night air to our homes and firesides, not a member yet of this colourful and friendly degree, what’s stopping you, if you’re a Mark Mason come and join us and make even more friends. |
